Who this is for
Strategy without execution is just a slide deck. System implementation is where the rubber meets the road: actually configuring the CDP, wiring up the data pipelines, instrumenting the events, building the automation flows, and making sure everything talks to each other correctly.
This engagement is for companies that know what they need to build but don't have the senior technical marketing capacity to build it. Whether that's because your engineers are heads-down on product, your marketing team doesn't have a systems background, or you just need it done faster than a full-time hire would allow.
I've implemented marketing systems at Ramp, mParticle, Branch, and Runway - each at different stages, each with different constraints. The common thread: you get more done with 90 days of focused implementation than two years of incremental improvement.

Process
How it works
1. Scoping
We define the specific systems in scope, the success criteria, and the timeline. This is a fixed-scope engagement - no open-ended retainer creep.
2. Technical discovery
Access to your existing systems, a review of your current event taxonomy (if one exists), and a mapping session with whoever owns your data infrastructure.
3. Implementation
Hands-on build. Weekly async updates with a working session every 1-2 weeks. I work alongside your team, not around them.
4. QA and validation
Every implementation is tested end-to-end before handoff. Events fire correctly, data lands in the right place, reports show what they should.
5. Documentation and knowledge transfer
A final session to walk your team through what was built, why it was built that way, and how to maintain it. No black boxes.
