Marketing in AI Workshop

Cut through the noise and build a clear AI strategy for your marketing function.

Overview

Who this is for

There are two failure modes I see in marketing teams when it comes to AI. The first is paralysis: watching the space, evaluating tools, waiting for the right moment that never comes. The second is chaos: a different team member using a different AI tool for a different purpose, with no shared understanding, no measurement, and no compounding effect.

This workshop is for marketing leaders and their teams who want to move from either of those failure modes to a clear, prioritized AI strategy. Half-day or full-day format, remote or in-person. Works best for teams of 4-12 people - small enough to go deep, large enough to surface the real workflow gaps.

I teach a version of this material in a Reforge course. The workshop goes further - it's tailored to your specific team, your specific tools, and your specific stage of growth. You leave with a concrete 90-day implementation plan, not a generic framework.

What's included

Deliverables

  • AI readiness assessment - current tools, current workflows, gaps in structured data and process documentation
  • Workflow mapping - where AI creates real leverage in your specific marketing function, not generic use cases
  • Tool evaluation framework - how to cut through vendor noise and evaluate AI tools against actual business requirements
  • Implementation roadmap - prioritized 90-day plan with owners, dependencies, and success criteria
  • Measurement plan - how to track whether AI is actually improving output quality, speed, or coverage
  • Workshop recording and materials - everything documented for team members who couldn't attend

Process

How it works

  1. 1. Pre-work

Two weeks before the workshop, I send a pre-work survey to all participants. Covers current tools, biggest workflow bottlenecks, and where they've already tried AI. This shapes the workshop agenda.

  2. 2. Half-day workshop (or full-day)

Structured sessions covering: AI landscape orientation (relevant to marketing, not everything), workflow mapping exercise, tool evaluation, and roadmap building. Mix of presentation, group work, and open discussion.

  3. 3. Synthesis and roadmap

Within 48 hours I deliver a written summary of the workshop outputs: workflow map, prioritized roadmap, and tool recommendations with rationale.

  4. 4. 30-day check-in

A 30-minute working session 30 days after the workshop to see how implementation is going, unblock any decisions, and adjust the roadmap based on what you've learned.
